  6. Biggest challenge, even four months out, is water. Both not drinking before and after meals, and getting enough throughout the day.
  7. You can print them from the internet. Restaurants do not have to honor them, it just explains you have had weight loss surgery and ask if them to please let you order from the child menu. It also tells everyone you had the surgery, so no privacy if that's important to you. I never got a card, and have found that if I explain I recently had surgery, they let me get whatever I want. No need to explain the type of surgery (although I usually do).

  11. I agree with Andi. I had trouble too but not as much when it was room temp.

  13. My surgeon recommended three meals of 2-4 ounces and one protein shake a day. Absolutely no snacking in between.

  16. The only thing that goes down well for me is room temp water. Everything else i have to take tiny sips. I was sleeved March 8 2013. My surgeon says its normal but will eventually fade away.

  18. Mine was for three days. Didn't feel anything at all when it was removed and no hanged in discomfort level after it was removed.
  19. took about 6 weeks for me. Sometimes I still wake up tired though. Try the sublingual b12. Its helps.
  20. I've got a bunch. Scrub jackets also. Where do u live

  23. Both the cauliflower crust and pork rind crusts are good.. I personally use pork rind crust. Just google pork rind pizza crust. no carbs and everyone in my family loves it. It does not taste like pork rinds (which I cant stand). Tastes just like pizza crust.
  24. hmm..im three months today and was gonna start ab work tomorrow. Now I wonder if I should.
  25. I personally went with the sleeve because it has fewer complications and side effects. Long term the weight loss is about the same as bypass, even though initially it is a bit slower. I haven't regretted my decision once.
  26. I was two weeks out before I could take a shower and do my makeup without resting. Good thing I have a desk job or I would never have been able to go back to work after one week.
  27. I have the same worry. Being overweight has been a huge part of who I am for over 20 years. The good news is im not losing very fast, so I have time to adjust to it.
  28. I only had to do the two day clear liquid for surgery prep. None for weightloss.
  29. Don't want to scare you, but my three week stall lasted a month and a half. One day I got on the scale and was down 4 pounds over night. I did nothing but keeps to my diet (protein, protein, and more protein.) I still cant figure out how someone who is 250 pounds, works two jobs, and eats less than 100 calories a day didn't lose weight. As I said, haven't changed anything, my body just finally caught on.
