Gastric Sleeve vs Gastric Bypass

I have an appointment with my surgeon next month and I am trying to decide which of the above surgery is better. Any suggestions?

I personally went with the sleeve because it has fewer complications and side effects. Long term the weight loss is about the same as bypass, even though initially it is a bit slower. I haven't regretted my decision once.

I have chosen the sleeve because it is only a restrictive surgery, not malabsorption. It also does not involve re routing anything...there is tons of info online that can help you make an educated decision...good luck!
