Now the real wait begins! My PA emailed me to let me know that she has submitted my paperwork to the insurance and they tell her to wait at least 15 business days to hear back from them.

I have Anthem BCBS, so if you have the same insurance...how long is the real wait?

Oh my gosh! I called the insurance tonight and guess what.....THEY HAVE RECEIVED MY INFORMATION!!! And they have submitted for March 18th!!! So now I have to wait for the approval!

I am just so shocked that my insurance has finally gotten my stuff!! Wow I am excited an I haven't even been approved yet!!!

I have Anthem Blue Cross of Ca. I was approved in 3 days. I had to call and find out I was approved. I knew before the surgeons office.

Yea the lady at the insurance said that it normally takes about 72 hours to get an answer. I am also with Anthem BCBS of GA.

Just hope I actually get approved in 72 hours! Lol

Just though I would give an update...I received an email thus evening from my surgeon asking had I heard from his office and had to tell him No! I hope something is done about his staff! Because he is an amazing surgeon!

I wonder how long it will take in Texas I have Medicare and QMB Medicaid as my secondary ins. My height is 5'8 503 pds.. (started at 525) my bmi is 79.4. I have lymphodema in my legs, sleep apnea ,cellulitis in my legs. with extreme back and knee pain. I have passed all of my test and on the very last one I tested positive for h pylori. I have been on antibiotics now for a week, so tomorrow is my final check up and I am scared that the h pylori thing will keep me from getting approved.
