I finally found a sleeve sister!! I will be having my surgery on April 3rd as well! I weigh 240 and 5'6" and I am 39. I start my liquid diet on March 20.

lol..Thanks! I will keep you posted!! Here is some more information... I go March 22 for PreOp with the dr and the hospital. Then Surgery is at 9:15am, check-in is by 7:15am My liquid diet starts on March 20th and I am not looking forward to that! lol

I was able to squeeze into the April 3rd date!! woo hoo!! Who else is on the 3rd??

My surgeon's office wants us to only use those five choices. I don't remember why but they did tell us in the Nutrition class. I just hate to buy it and then not like it...lol!

My only choices are Bariatric Advantage High Protein Meal Replacement (any of the 5 flavors), powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury Protein powder (any of the 5 flavors), Premier High Protein shake (pre-made) (any of the 3 flavors), Body Fortress whey Protein Powder (any of the 5 flavors), or the SlimFast 321 Low Carb shakes. Also I have to mix the Bariatric Advantage and Body Fortress with Water and the Unjury with Fat-Free Milk. So what do you all think? What was your favorite protein shake and which flavor? I am so excited about this journey but this is what is going to scare the hell out of me!

I know right! Once I got someone at my surgeon's office to respond to me, I got all of my clinicals submitted and approved in 4 days!! Just think I could have been approved a long time ago!

Congrats!! I got approved today too! And I was also told not to get my hopes up to the point that my PA tried to completely stop my process! But my surgeon told me to continue the process!! Look at us now, APPROVED!!! Yay for all of us that was approved today! Sent from my iPhone using VST

Oh my gosh! I can not believe that I was really approved! I have been through so much with my surgeon's office... my first Patient Advocate tried to stop my process in the beginning because she said that I would not be approved! That is great!! I had/have the same problem with my Patient Advocate! She told me that she submitted my paperwork on February 6 but after many calls to the insurance company and emails to my PA and Surgeon, my paperwork was submitted on February 21st! My surgeon emailed me last week an said that I would hear from his office before the week ended. But I did not hear from anyone! Surprisingly I got an email last night from my surgeon to follow up to see if I had heard from anyone in his office, and I told him NO! He was not happy! So hopefully I will hear something soon!
