Beef jerkey and turkey jerkey- I eat that a lot. Deli ham or turkey rolls- with cheese. I do those a lot for a quick snack or even lunch. And diet hot cocoa with Torini SF Syrup. You get Protein from the milk and its YUMMY!

At 7 months out and 107 lbs down my favorite snack is the Jif to go reduced fat packs with peeled sliced apples that are pre packaged in the fruit section at Wal Mart, convenient and tasty!

Ok, hope I'm not stepping on any toes...like I said this is NOT my recipe....someone else posted it here...I just can't find it here now...here goes:

Protein balls

1 cup old fashioned oats

1 1/2 cups Protein Powder (I used chocolate)

1 cup Peanut Butter (I used crunchy Skippy)

Handful of dried fruit (I used cranberries)

Dash of SF Torani Syrup (to taste)

Splenda (I used 3 packets)

Mix the glob together with a little Water until you get a consistency to roll into balls. Roll into balls a little smaller than golf balls and freeze. Take them out and defrost when you plan to eat. They're good frozen and defrosted.

Yum!

For a long time it was Jerky. Now I'm not so very into meat - especially since I got pregnant - and my very favorite snack right now is roasted chickpeas.

I do them with a sweeter blend of spices or I do them with paprika, garlic and onion. YUM.

Or hummus, with some homemade pita chips and an assortment of veggies.

I'm on a chickpea kick right now, and blame the pregnancy. It's a far better craving than the chicken nuggets (gag!) I wanted with my twins. :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
