3 weeks and 21 pounds later, I almost feel normal again. This morning when I woke up, without thinking about it, put my hands to my face and realized my face felt different! I could feel my face instead of so much soft fat. I can't wait for all the changes (good & bad)!

I have a sharp pain at one of the incision sites. On the 3rd day after surgery I bent over and picked up my cat. Now if I move around much or certain ways it hurts like crazy. The other incision sites aren't sore at all. I hope I'm just worring too much.

I've read some posts that mentions binders. Is it something like spanx? I'm wondering if that would help me, or maybe it's too late. I feel like I might have pulled one of the inner stitches.

Whew! Glad to hear about the weight gain following surgery. I didn't know what was going on!

Surgery tomorrow for me. I am more afraid of not having it done. Too many benefits from doing it to chicken out!

Congratulations on being a grandma! I haven't been blessed with grandchildren yet but I'll be ready for them with better health. I have read the book by Dr Alvarez, it's full of good information. Yes, I would like the names of the cookbooks. I've got a lot to learn about a new way of cooking and eating. Best of luck to you also!
