Hi I known its early to be thinking about food. I only had my surgery on September 17th. I ended up doing 3 weeks of Protein shakes prior to surgery. Now its Clear liquids for 2 weeks followed by 4 weeks of Protein Shakes before starting any food whatsoever. Surgery went great. No major problems so far with recovery knock on wood. I am home seeing commercials that involve amazing looking food. My favorite is pizza. Do you think I will ever be able to have just one whole slice of cheese pizza again?

Hi everybody I was wondering if any of you had a weight gain shortly after surgery? My sleeve surgery was Monday of this week. Now its Thursday and Im up 10 pounds from the weight on Monday. Isnt that a kick in the pants?

Thank you all so much for the prayers. Surgery went very well. I was in the hospital for 2 overnights. Family is at peace. Just a matter of recovery now and requested continued prayers that this will all go smoothly. Let me know how I can pray for you all also.

Hello friends I am new to this forum and I did not tell too many about this surgery. I am confident that the Lord will bring me through victoriously. I would appreciate any prayer even if it is just a short and simple one and even if you are just browsing and dont have time to respond to me. I know God listens to all prayer especially when more join in. My sugery is this Monday morning. My prayer is for the careful and skilled hands of the surgeon to prevail. That I will remain calm as well as my family. I ask for nothing less than a speedy recovery free of complications. Also that I can get out of the hospital in 2 days and be safe at home. Also that I will be free of all the worries about little details like how to get to and from the hospital, and that the transportation will not financially burden me. I appreciate if you could join me in these requests.
