Over a year at goal with pics

  • Popular Post

Hello all!

Its been a while since I have posted. Thought I would correct that. Without giving all the back story since it's all in here in various posts. I reached goal 7 months after surgery (sugery was may 2011) i gave been at goal for 13 months now. It is still better than I ever dreamed or imagined!! What an amazing thing to have this gift of life, true unabashed, suck the marrow out of, running, rock climbing, children proudly smilling, wear anything in the store, life! (Though what i'd give for a pair of jean that fit right in the butt!! All to big now:-)

My life has improved in so many ways, more more than I ever contemplated. I was already a happy upbeat person, now that guy is wearing the right body! I hope for each of you a journey as easy and rewarding as my own! May all of you rest fully on the losers bench.

You look awesome!

Dude........remarkable!!! You're living proof of what many of us do and try to do (including myself), which is taking this tool that we have and making the most of it. And you have made the absolute very most of it and going way beyond what any of us can expect!! Great job man!!

Hey, well during my losing phase my goals were 6-800 cals, 80 grams Protein 60-80 non flour non potato carbs. And shot for 80 oz Fluid I ate a lot of greek yogurt (still do) and beef Jerky. As far as work outs I started walking and jogging worked up too 3 miles 3x's a week. As I continued to lose i began to run more often and longer runs as well.

I'm currently following a similar diet. I'm usually around 800cal, 80+ protein and try to keep carbs under 40 I do have days where I get over 50g carbs a day but rarely. Given your results I might not feel so guilty if I surpass my carb goals once and awhile.

I read you lost 80lbs your first 4 months. Can I get a rough estimate of how much you lost each of those months? How soon after surgery did you start hitting the gym.

thanks
