Thank you but I'd like to stay as close to home as possible :)

Which Drs have you looked at? I have used Dr Rantis for LapBand fills but I and now looking around to see who is the best for Revision. I am also considering going out of state if I have to. Can you share some of your thoughts?

I decided on Dr. Lutfi I did alot of research an he's the best (not one bad review) an he teaches other dr's around the US on how to preform the surgery thru in incision. I'm glad I found him :)

Thanks, I will look him up. Good luck to you. I am so nervous and really did not want to do this in the first place. I am so scared of what kind of damage the lap band might have done.

I just looked and he is not in one of the centers of excellence that my insurance company recommends...ugh

I'm sorry, good luck!!

@ Melissa have you tried university of Chicago? They have a very well established program and excellent program. I had my sleeve by the most jr partner de prashad she is awesome!!! From what I've heard from other patients the sr partner is much more awesome, which I can't imagine, because de prashad was soo nice and good. From what I understand dr prashad is the laporscopic king. I did once work as a bariatric coordinator about 10 years ago, and even then that was the place to go to if you had problems or complications from wls. Yes it is also a center of excellence. Their process is very efficient and they have nurse practicioners that work hand in hand with you. I highly recommend them. Feel free to pm or ask any questions.

Good luck to all of you... We should totally get a Chicago meet up going.

Chigoe girl, I am looking into that clinic as soon as I get my med records from NY. I work across from Union, are they close to there?
