I too am scheduled to have surgery on 1/7. I have been so scared of getting sick: I usually do this time of year. I have prayed for you -- don't give up because of road blocks, usually that means what you are doing is going to produce Great results!

Vitamin C is your best friend. My surgery is wednesday and i too am praying not to get sick! but also taking exta vitamin C just incase!

Beatriz thanks for your prayers. I was supposed to stop all Vitamins a week before surgery. I am taking Tylenol cold since Tylenol is the only thing I'm supposed to take. I'm positive that by Monday I will be perfectly fine. Good luck to you.

Oh I so know how you feel. My surgery is on Tuesday and I've got the cough and congestion thing. Ive been surrounded by sick people at work and home. Dammit!

My doctor didnt ban Vitamins pre surgery so I am doubling down on Vitamin C. What else to do?

Rest, chicken Soup, and there is no cure for the common cold. Just pray for health and God's timing. Always be honest with your surgeon. A delay is better than complications.
