pink stuff? anyone make it. good protein and flavor

Recommended Posts

We used to make this all the time. Then i looked at the ingredients and tweeked it to boost Protein.< /p>

U need

sugar free Jello (strawberry, cherry or other flavor) un-made small box

Whipped creme

Can of fruit

Protein powder(unflavored)

Container (medium size)of fat free cottage cheese

Pour cottage cheese in bowl

Add jello mix package

Add 1/2 ish of whipped creme/cool whip

Add fruit after straining most of juice

I add 2 spoons of protein powder(spoon as in the one that came with the powder)

Mix put in fridge for an hr or so

The cottage cheese has 19g protein per serving then boosting that with the Protein Powder.

It taste good.

I made some with rasberry and used too much cool whip so i would reduce it to 1/2 bowl of whipped creme. U can always add more cool whip. Im going to try and make it individually too

The pic is how it will

With the whipping cream added doesn't it have a large amount of sugar? What are your serving sizes? Did you do any sort of breakdown? Sounds delicious by the way.

You should be able to get the sugar free cool whip

My grandfather is diabetic and it was the first think i thought of but he eats cool whip from time to time. He showed me the sugars in it. It was like 1 or 2 grams of sugar in both reg and sf and I think it only has 1 or 2 carbs.

Its a good dessert or snack and even the rest of the fam can enjoy it.

Some ppl even add walnuts. I love it w/ pineapple but tried it with mixed fruits instead.

I made it and blended it when I was on purees! I love that stuff. Need to make some this week. I've been known to leave out the cool whip and just put a dollop on top as I eat my serving. It sets up firmer if you do that.

Oh I'm going to add walnuts! Sounds good and a nice treat. I need to use my unflavored Protein powder and this will be nice!

perhaps remove whip creme, use only enough Water to melt Gelatin, then use Mootopia for rest of water (it is half sugars, and 12 g protien for 8 oz)...then as it cools, so it will not denature, add Unjury unflavored powder...

Oh thanks! I didn't even know they made sf cool whip. I detest the stuff, think it tastes really chemical laden but if its going in a recipe, should be fine. I might have to line up the ingredients to make sure I can have some as soon as I get to the puréed stage. Thanks again OP for posting the recipe.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
