Canadian November Bandsters

It is almost November, which will be always known to me as the month of the BIG change. I start my pre-op diet on the 15th and have surgery on the 29th. Any advice to get through the pre-op diet is welcome!

I would really like to hear from any and all Canadians who are being banded in November and December. There don't seem to be many newbies on the Canadian thread. I look forward to hearing from anyone!!

I also hope to get lots of support from everyone out there, as I have been afraid to tell anyone what I am doing. I have only told hubby, kids and one sister. I don't feel like trying to justify myself or my expenditure to anyone. I know I am worth it and that is what is important.

so what are your updates november bandsters?

i probably expected too much..... but seeing some of the amazing results of others here.........so far it's been kinda slow for me if i compare.....

i've probably lost about 20lbs all together..... half of which are post banding and only 1 since the first fill........ i just had a 2nd fill so i am hopeful that the scale will start moving quicker......

i'm disappointed slightly, but extatic as well, 20 lbs in 2 months is pretty good i guess, and it's been a while since i was at this weight on the way up lol

don't compare yourself sg!! You are doing great! It all counts. Two months....at 1 lb (ie. average) per week is 8 lbs and you are at 20.....don't sell yourself short!!!!
