  1. i cant burp.... i find it odd... but u get used to it.... i got the 'review' back... everthing is ok.
  2. hi, no i dont mind telling u what the refund was........ problem is, im not exactly sure myself because it turned out that i would have owed this year...... so the 2 cancelled each other out..... id guess around 3 thousand, but dont quote me thanks for the replies. and yeah it was just a request for receipts...im really greatful that its not a full audit.. but it scared me just the same! lol
  3. did this happen to anyone else when u claimed ur surgery? how did it work out for u? what a pain.
  4. i havent been myself........ but a friend of mine has been to the HJ. it's not scuzzy..... it's good enough and clean.... but a bit older that's why it's cheaper i guess.... decent for a nights sleep
  5. i was banded by dr. joffe, and have never even seen dr. yau, but i hear great things about him. i only met dr. joffe for a few minutes, my consultation was very quick...and the day of surgery he came to see me again only for a couple minutes. since then, i have been dealing with the other staff and hey are great. i was kind of sad to hear this news but at the same time i am not nervous about the quality of the rest of my post op care.
  6. just curious... does anybody think there would be a quality difference of having one done in hospital vs. a plastic surgeon? maybe the one paid out of pocket will be done 'prettier'?
  7. my personal experience is through this clinic: http://www.tlbc.ca/ u'll find info on their site. but how would she get her fills?
  8. my 4 month anniversary is tomorrow.... some of yours has passed and some is coming up in the next couple of weeks..... just want to congratulate everyone on your progress so far. mine has been about -30lbs and 2 pant sizes!..... i find it low compared to some others, but it's way better that what i was!! ive had 4 fills.... and am at 6.5cc in a 10cc what's your progress so far? what has been the hardest thing for you to deal with to-date? what has been easier than you thought? the hardest thing for me, occasionally, if ive let myself get too hungry because of working or something..... is that i guess i dont chew properly and try to eat quickly! ouch! u can imagine.... i hate to admit, ive had a generous share of pb'ing.... :sick the easiest thing, or most surprising, id say, is that i am able to tolertate some foods that i read are 'more difficult', so that makes me happy.. but maybe if i go for another fill, i won't anymore! lol :clap2: to all of us!
  9. :omg: amazing!! good job
  10. me too...... i felt the scale has been sssslllloooowww.... but today i had to go out and buy new pants, 2 sizes down... made me feel very good and excited to go back real soon for the next size(s) down... im moving soon and hope to leave all the larger size clothes behind.....:gluck:
  11. good luck to all.... i'd like to drink more Water, ive noticed that i dont drink as much as i used to. i'd LOVE to hit onederland, but that's just crazy..... but maybe by easter?... :gluck: and that's only gonna be possible if i start exercising...
  12. well, dont go by me...... ive had a bit of a slow start...i think because i need more fill......but u can see the success of others, some of which are just unbelievable but i have no regret.
  13. i was laughing until i just read the last couple of responses......... omg!!!
