I'll be 2 years in February. Lost exactly 100lbs. No regain. Running marathons now (literally)

Can eat anything, but totally stay away from pop and slurpees (my vices)

Any regain at all?

Not till just this fall / winter, seems the cut back in exercise (too cold and dark to ride my bike) and the holiday food have led me to put on about 2 pounds. I am trying to cut back, to lose it again, it's a LOT easier than it used to be, at least I don't have the constant gnawing hunger like I used to.

I am over three years out and still in love with my sleeve. I was a band to sleeve revision and have no regrets at all. I can eat more than I was able to the first year, but still not anything close to what I did pre-surgery.

I'll be 4 years this April too.

I can eat way more than I could at one year, but I don't think I can eat too much. If I think I can eat more, and try, I am really very uncomfortable and I hate that feeling. I hate being too full. So I have learned where to stop.

I have regained about 10 lbs over my lowest weight but I have been this weight for a year. I don't seem to gain or lose, even if I try to lose. I am a pretty happy sleever.

I'm only 1 1/2 years post, so I'm not sure this is worthy but you wanted more stories. I have a 40f bougie. I can eat more now, but not enough that would allow regain unless it was in french fries and ice cream. I am still losing but only about a pound per month. I am near goal, so I expect to stop losing soon. I can eat whatever I want, but I still stick to eating healthy. I had an oreo last week, first cookie in a very long time. I can eat 2 eggs and 2 pieces of turkey bacon for Breakfast. I am full off that and won't want to eat again for hours. For lunch I often have a piece of fish with veggies, salad with some grilled chicken or shrimp or half a sandwich or a cup of Soup. I can eat 6oz of Protein, but I tend to eat 4oz and have some veggies with it.

It also changes. There are days I can eat a slice of thin crust pizza (minus the crust) and other days I can only eat half.

Grapes fill me up fast, apples too.

I won't regain. I just won't. I got into a size 8 last week, and by get into, I mean it fit. If I stay this size forever, I'm happy. If I lose another 10, I'm happy, but I won't ever get bigger than I am now. I still weigh daily and will adjust as needed.

Not 2 years year more like 1 and a half. I eat anything I want. Just can eat a lot which is great. I can eat a sandwhich if I eat slow. I do not eat salads. They fill me up to fast. I stay away from soft drinks. If I gain 2 pounds I can skip a meal & it goes away the next day. Love it. Just like Rootman said it is a lot easier.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
