Dr. Garcia/ Any Feb 2013 Sleevers Want To Buddy Up?

Recommended Posts

Me too. :(

If you are in Houston, we'll have to get together some time... It would be good to have someone to chat and hangout with who's going through this as well.

I was trying to figure out how to pay my remaining balance. I am scared if I get a money order or something it will get lost... Probably my nerves.

What company did you go threw? I know with Ready4Achange they have a Wells Fargo bank account that they will give info to make a deposit into.

That's great only issue with that for me is I don't have time to deposit it. So I'm just getting a Cashier check and I'll fill the rest out later. To insure it doesn't get lost ima keeping it in my pocket.

That's reasonable. I'm a little nervous about that too. That's y I kinda want to use my credit cards but I don't want to pay the service fee because I'm using more then on card. Plus I don't want that much in credit.

R4AC... I think I would rather do that. I am going to email my coordinator to get that information.

Thanks

I know! I just don't want anything going wrong... I don't have a Wells Fargo here, but I will just have to drive to one. I just don't feel comfortable carrying a check for that amount around. I get there at 9...it came by sooo fast!

How has your preop diet been. This full liquid might kick my tail!

It's doing okay I have little struggles here and there. But it turns out we weren't required to do a full liquid. Our paperwork says Protein Shake for Breakfast and lunch and a salad for dinner. I double checked with Alma days after starting and she said I didn't have to do full liquids. Just follow the plan and the day before surgery Clear Liquids with nothing to eat after mid night. I was so frustrated with that but decided to stick with the liquids it's not going to hurt anything.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
