Hello All...

I am new to the Vertical Sleeve Talk app for iPad. Just got my approval call on 11/9/12 (Woot Woot) and will be speaking with my surgeon's schedulers on Monday to get my surgery on the calendar in December! I'm so excited and also wonder if there are any other December sleevers in the line up?!

Yes but my dr only requires one week. I am actually doing it now. I do shakes and one meal in the evening. As we get closer, I will start eating even less at night.

I will start with liquid diet on Monday... just met with my supervisor today to notify him of my surgery and my need for up to 2 weeks off of work. I am glad that the conversation went smooth too! Back to counting down the days until the surgery!

Woot Woot!! We're gonna have to be pre-op diet and sleeve buds! I am actually nervous about starting and sticking to the liquid diet over the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday! Gotta get my meditation going so that I can get my mind right b/c I've got a whole lot to be thankful for including the insurance approval for the gift of Sleeve

December 12 here! I just told my husband last night that this will be the last year we do a Christmas card with just our 3 year old on it! THroughout the next year I am hoping we can get some nice pictures of the 3 of us and actually put a FAMILY picture on our Christmas card... Not that my 3 year old isnt adorable, I just want all of us on there for once!
