Where's My Miracle?

Running out of patience. I know I am only 5 weeks post op but I've only lost 21#. Realistically I know better, but subconsciously I expected to 1- have surgery 2- spend a couple of weeks recovering 3- get on the scale and be down 100#. Guess what? That didn't happen.

Hmmm at 5 weeks out I was 23 lbs down - after gaining 20 in the hospital from fluids and post-op shenanigans.

I am not the fastest loser by any means but look at the stats in my ticker now - it adds up. Edit: I am coming up on 6 months post -op.

There is no way in the world I would ever have been able to lose this much this fast without the sleeve - and know that it is staying off.

Look at the trend over time - that is where the rubber meets the road.

I am definitely what you would call a "slow loser"' date=' 11 months out and only lost 79lbs. I've been exactly where most of you are. Sad and upset that the scale isn't moving fast enough like it does for everyone else. But maybe this will put things into perspective before and after pics of me. This is what ONLY 79lbs. in 11 months look like and you know what I'll take losing that then gaining that any day! =) I'm very happy with my sleeve! We always want more which is what got us in this mess in the first place. Give it time.[/quote']

Thank you for sharing! So inspirational!

Have you ever lost 20 lbs in a month before in your life!!!!!!??

Sounds like success to me!

I think this was a joke... right?
