I Need Opionions On A Leak

I have been throwing up for the last 24 hours every time I eat something. A pipe broke at my apartment so I had to move out which means I was lifting and moving heavy stuff. My surgery was 6 weeks ago so my question is do you think I could have tore my stomach? I'm not sure how long I have to worry about leaks. I would appreciate any input.

Would recommend you call your surgeon now. Leaks (or possible leaks) can't wait till Monday. Good luck, keep us posted!

If you did damage the new sleeve (and you are in that window of time) you need to get to your ER and call your doctor NOW. A leak can kill. It can not wait.

go to er, just to be safe but i dont think you have a leak but im no dr. iknow this morining i was pressing on some bread crumbs and right after my top insciscon started burning so you could of hurt yoru stomach mucsle but please dont hesitate go to er and keep us updated pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Symptoms: unexplained consistent fever 100.5^ , pain: left upper torso shoulder/back, left ribcage, tachycardia (fast heart rate) also increased abdominal pain, shortness of breath, sweating, chills, general malaise.

Occurance: 3 days to 4.5 weeks post op most common. Rarely after 6 weeks post-op, have read of several cases on VSG Forum of leaks discovered at 6 - 7 months post op, VSGrs complaining of symptoms since early on, going to ER and misdiagnosed as kidney infections, or some other malady before discovering/confirming the leak.

i found this for you to read

Thanks everyone, I didn't have a fever so I decided to see how I felt today. Since I'm a little better I think I might have just hurt my stomach moving furniture and lifting things. A pipe broke in my apartment so I had to move out for a week.

At six weeks you're past the timeframe most doctors seem to give for lifting restrictions (usually between 4-6 weeks). You probably just overdid it with the lifting.
