I went in on Monday morning came home on Tuesday evening and I was out and walking the next day slowly but walking. I was only on liquids for couple days, then I progressed quickly. Surgeon said I was doing great.

I had my VSG at 9:30 this morning in Baton Rouge at the new Women's Hospital and live in the Zachary area. they also repaired my hiatal hernia. Overall it's going pretty good. No gas pains or nausea. finally took me off oxygen, I wasn't getting enough until tonight. only walked half way around the hall first try, all the way around when we tried again a few hours later. I asked Dr Bellanger and the nurse to hold my hands while I prayed when he came around before surgery and I put it in God's hands.

I live in Alexandria!
