Got Insurance Spproval & Surgery Date Today

I am sooo excited. I was approved by my insurance today...only took 4 days...and got my surgery date. Due to my work schedule, I asked for a surgery date near Thanksgiving. I was given my date today and it is November 20. I am interested in everyone's experiences :-)

I got sleeved on Sept. 17 at first it is difficult to get all the liquids in. I have been working hard at it. I am finally able to drink a bottle of water in about 2hrs. I do not regret getting the sleeve because i know that it is going to get much better later down the road. GOOD LUCK!!

I was sleeved last Friday - 9-21-12, and I went back to work yesterday. I'm feeling great! The first two days were strange, but I had never been under anesthesia and I think that's what the weirdness was. I had some nausea right after my surgery, but was given medicine for that. I've had little to NO pain, and took pain meds only three times in the hospital (I stayed two nights, and rode six hours home on Sunday). I took liquid Tylenol on Monday for a headache, and that's all the pain I've had. I am so happily surprised that this has been such a positive experience for me. Congratulations on your approval, and good luck on your surgery!

How are you feeling now? I'm hoping not to be off work too long. I can take the time I need, but my work schedule is busy this time of year. Has been hard to get the Protein in as the instruct? How much have you lost so far (I know it hasn't been that long)?

Hope all is well and Congratulations on getting it done :-)
