Leaving For The Hospital! Surgery Today =)

I am surprisingly calm. I'm sure that will change as soon as I walk through the hospital doors.

Please send some positive vibes and thoughts my way, I could really use it.

Thanks friends!

I'm 5days out and I'm in pain...can't eat anything/ drink broth...certain smells make me nauseous..but I am walking using a heating pad..trying to take in as much protein as I can and water and crystal light seems to work...

Oh....ok! I see some things that I have to look to getting thru...as well as u will be. I get my chest xrays done tomorrow and on the 17th I see my surgeon and anesthesiologist and my surgery on Oct 5.

Wow I already have an issue with some smells, I can only imagine what its gonna be like after surgery. Well, continue to keep ur head up and be encouraged and focused thru this change of life. I wish u all the best of what's ahead.

Everyone is different...I met a lady on her right before I had mine and she had no problems at all...everything went well. So it just depends on you..you will be fine...support is the key as long as you have that it will make all the difference

Yeah....thats true. A girlfriend of mine had gastric in April and she did well where as a girl we both know had a lot of problems even going back n the hospital.

I also had surgery the same day as you guys :) I had some issues the first few days but woke up today actually feeling alright! Which makes me verrrrry happy! I had a slight fever yesterday but it passed and I cannot complain. So sorry that you guys had complications, I guess I'm not "out of the woods" yet but hoping for things to go as smoothly as possible and ready to eat something more than chicken broth haha
