Do You Need A Ride Home After An Egd?

My coordinator did not mention that but as I am researching I am seeing some people do. I have all my tests Sept 14 but was planning on driving myself and going straight to work after. DO i need to take the day off??

I am a registered nurse, and one thing we always emphasize for our patients after any procedure like this is to have a driver, no ifs, ands or buts!!! K
