  • Why is it strange?! I don't find it strange that someone wants to know if this is something she will have to deal with post surgery, or be totally free of. I thought we were here to inform ourselves a

I craved spicy food for awhile, especially Thai green curry. Now that I've had some I don't crave it as much, but cravings come and go. At least I found out I can tolerate and still enjoy some spice.

You need a "Dislike This" button so I can push it. I also don't think it's strange. I lost 40 lbs before surgery, so I had cravings all the time. Much easier to deal with the cravings after surgery

I craved pickles right after I was sleeved.

Doritos!! yummm

Turkey chili was on my week 3-6 soft and moist list, and it was good. Still is.

If you don't feel like making your own, this brand in a can is surprisingly good. I found it at Safeway, Stagg Turkey Ranchero: http://www.hormelfoods.com/brands/stagg/default.aspx#

Looks like it's also made by Hormel, but way better tasting than the Hormel-labeled turkey chili. Probably not the optimal choice with the carbs and sodium, but good occasionally.

Chilli. I don't know whether it is a craving as I don't think about it until someone asks me what I want for lunch or dinner and I just find myself saying "chilli".

I am a make my own kind of gal. Plus, I live in New Zealand and we don't have those brands here :-) though it must be so easy to be able to just open a can! I tend to make a big batch and freeze half cup portions, they are a real go to for me and make up my work lunch most days. I have always enjoyed chilli but post sleeve it seems to be my new favourite!

Some traditional Mexican carne Asada in a corn tortilla and salsa !! Or vegetarian pizza from mountain mikes ;) - maybe after six months I will but just eat in moderation !

I don't think this is a strange question at all (but what a strange response).

I crave the same foods I always did. For me, nothing has changed. I'm almost 4 weeks out and I can eat anything, just in very small amounts.

I used to crave sugar I have no cravings anymore the other night I was even thinking about that

Pizza is my only craving these days. All other food is very meh, I can take it or leave it. I craved a taco all through my liquid phase, and discovered I could no longer eat them after I went to solids. Since it made me feel bad, I haven't craved it again. I find that A LOT with solids. :)

I crave cottage cheese and sugar free fudge sickles . I hated cottage cheese before surgery.
