Its no wonder obesity is such a problem!!

I am 2days post op and while im resting I have flipped channels and EVERY OTHER commercial is for some unhealthy junk food!! Not one that shows someone eating healthy. no veggies no Protein all are processed junk!

Luckily I have NO hunger so it is just amazing to me how many junk food commericals there are!!

OK I went through this too. T.V. sucks in general....lol...

I have tivo now so I don't want the commercials. Just make you hungry for bad bad food....lol...

OMG, me too! Every other commercial was for pizza! And pizza is my weakness, i have to look away and change the channel every time. I'm not feeling hungry either, actually, fell very full and bloated, but I still don't want to look at that stuff. Did anyone watch Oprah today?

I don't think I ever realized just how many commercials there are about food until I went on my pre-op diet back in April and was doing the liquids only thing. I thought I would lose it every time one of those stinkin' commercials came on! :faint:

IT IS THE SAME IN ENGLAND, ADS 4 MACDONALDS BURGER KING AND SO ON. USUALLY TARGETED TOWARDS OUR CHILDREN. CHILD HOOD OBESITY IS ON THE UP IN ENGLAND AND THESE FAST FOOD ADS ARE NOT ENCOURAGING OUR CHILDREN TO BE HEALTHY. THIS IS SOO BAD, ITS REDICULOUS !!!!!!

I tivo'd Oprah today. I colud not believe the change in that woman. And some of the stuff I thought was good for me, like Country Crock is bad....

Seriously, I feel like I hear a pizza commercial every hour. It's my liquids week and I'm so much more aware of food ads than ever before.

Oprah was all about nutrition and things that you eat that actually make your body older than it should be....like pop, and processed foods.
