I met my husband when he was about 220lbs @ 5ft 8. He's not particularly tall and not average weight, he's a big guy, now he's 235lbs and I'm soo attracted to him anyway. He's considered morbidly obese but I don't care. Don't see it really.

The largest man i dated was a gorgeous man from Gyauna (spelled wrong i am sure.) He was very dark skin, about 6ft8 and about 320.

The skinnest man i dated was 6ft and 138 and he was almost see thru white.

I like them all sizes. I am not sure that i would date someone that has a hard time getting around. I am SOOO active that it would cause issues. I am not the sit around type. But they could be huge as long as they were still active and wanting to do stuff.

I did settle down with a skinny though. But i had to talk it out with family and friends and him bc i was afraid that it would build on my insecurities and stuff, i mean. FOR REAL> he is 33 and still in 30/34 jeans. Shopping for both of us is difficult!! lol.

Ok this is a great topic. Me and my friends talk about it alot. I have one very skinny friend and she prefers bigger men with meat on them. Another one of my friends is MO and she likes big guys as well. She tried to get me to go to a dating website for Big and Beautiful people. I told her as strange as it sounds I dont like big guys (well at least in weight LOL) I have always dated tall guys who are pretty much fit. A little pudge in the belly is ok but as long as its not a beer belly or more. Also black men and older men always are hitting on me. I'm 26. But Im just not physically attracted to them. My feeling is many men dont like fat girls and thats fine with me but I feel I have the right to not like fat guys. It sounds very bad but i cant help it.

This poll was the best ever!!! I discuss this with my co workers all the time. I used to be small up until I had my daughter 13 years ago and i got bigger and bigger. At 9 months pregnant I weighed 202, now I am 168. When I was small I would never ever date a fat man. REALITY check, after gaining weight and being fat my mind frame changed. I would date a fat man but I dont think I would be very interested in a very obese man unless he had a whole bunch of other good qualities, Good credit, good job, nice car, money saved, christian, great personality, good looking, good to me etc....

I don't mind a guy who is a little chunky, as long as he's got some junk in his trunk. I'm just not attracted to those guys with huge belly's and NO butt.

lol..sorry....I'm a butt girl.

This is great!

I have had all types as ex-boyfriends....but to be honest....at this point I would just like to meet a man who likes me for me. Someone decent enough, clean, smart, and kind. Oh and funny too. Gee, am I asking too much?

A man, an honest to goodness man who wants to date me! :peep:

I have never in my life had a relationship that lasted for than 4 years. I don't know why, But I believe that a lot of it has to do with my own self esteem. I literally sabotaged in many ways my last relationship 4 years ago because I couldn't believe that anyone would actually find me pretty. We actually fought over my self depreciation and negative self image.

I am hoping to get past this. I have always viewed myself as ugly...I look in the mirror....I see ugly.

But I AM WORKING ON IT. And I hope that someday....there is someone out there for me.

(Before I'm too old...lol):)

I would have to agree with you on that! I do the same self sabbatoge and I do need to change my point of view. I love me inside. I even think that at times I am pretty, until I see my weight...my double chin, my stomach, my fat...:faint:

Oh well, thats what I am here for....to start woring on it...

Hang in there and good luck!

My husband doesn't like Hollywood type bodies, either. This works out well for me. But I got the band because my weight was driving me nuts. I felt embarrassed and humiliated by it.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
