Maybe my wheels are just spinning because I have sugery in 5 days, but I am wondering.

Did everyone( women) feel comfy in their bra right after surgery? Do the bottom of the bra and the incisions meet at all ?

I wear a 36 G so I go for all the bells and whistles with under wire, and push up and bla bla bla and if the incisions are high on the tummy where the under wire would sit I am curious if it is worth my money to quick but a soft bra for the trip and week or two of healing , or am I just being silly and bra and incision never meet ?

I am large in the chest too (42J)--my incision was not irritated by my industrial strength metal reinforced bra. :)

The incision sits at the bra-line but in the middle of your breasts. Mine is almost perfectly centered lol. I didn't have an issue with my bra. However, once the incisions start to heel and the itching starts.... Whew! That's another story. Good Luck~!

I actually had to check my scars lol. I couldn't remember. I have one that is close to the bra line, but like TinaMari said it is in the middle. You should be ok.

My incisions were lower than my bra line, so no problems there at all. The highest one is just below where TinaMari said, about an inch below the center of my bra.

It might be something that depends on the length of your torso too. You might be able to talk with your surgeon and tell him your concerns.

I did have One tiny one there that would rub with some bras but not all I wore a 42H when I had surgery. I did have a issue with a few bras at a few points if the healing process but I would just put some gauze there and it was all good.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
