What Is Your Goal Weight ?!

Recommended Posts

My goal weight is 160. I'm 5' 2" and 33 years old. I'd like to be a size 10-12. I know it's on the high side- but that was the lowest weight I remember being in HS. Currently I'm 6 days pre op- weighing in at 270. My HW was 330 last August. I'm trying to lose another 10 lbs pre op- so I will have 100 lbs to go after surgery.

I'm 46, and 5' 11" tall. My starting weight was 330, and I'm at 266 this morning. My surgeon didn't really give me a "goal" weight....but MY goal is 180-185. I know from experience that I look anorexic at 160... No desire to go there. 180-185 will look great with my frame.

My surgery weight was 292 I'm at 201 now. I am 5'5 and my lean muscle mass is already on the high average end and body fat is much lower than the last time I was at 201 so I'm thinking I'm going to look damn good and solid at 150. I want to be an athletic frame so I think that will be a good number. Your BMI doesn't tell the whole story all of the time!

I'm almost 6ft, I'm just shy of 320 lbs and I'm 33. My personal goal is to get to around 170 which gets me to a normal BMI. My doc said that he thinks i will be good at 180-ish. I carry a lot of muscle on my frame. Casein point, I went with my mother and her friend to gather firewood for a bonfire we were having at tht friends house. I went to pick up a log and started dragging it....that friend was on it and i moved it jut fine. She thought it was hilarious that I picked the log and her up at the same time and thought nothing of it. Lol.

I think an athletic frame is gorgeous and sexy....therefore I will have one someday.

I'm 5'9" and my goal weight is 160 at least, maybe 150. I remember that weight and it has been a long time since I've seen it:). I was size 10 to 12, but not that concerned with size as long as I never have to go to the plus section again!

My surgery was March 20, 2012. I'm 5'6 1/2 and highest weight was 396. I'm now 298 (yay!!!) My surgeons goal for me is 233 (say what) my goal for myself is 175. I picked this number b/c I'm solid and carry my weight as such. Most people couldn't believe I weighed 400 pounds when I did cause I carried it pretty well. I do not want to be skinny, I want to hold on to the curves in my figure ;0)

I'm 4'11'' 40 years old and my healthy BMI range is 99-124. My surgeon considers you a success when you lose 65% of your excess weight which would have put me in the 150's. My personal goal for now is 123.8 to be in the normal BMI range - 1 more lb! Then my goal is that in clothes LOL I am getting ready to set a body fat % goal too - having a DEXA scan Monday to find out where I am. I am in sizes 6-10 depending on the clothing quality. Ultimately I think weight wise I would like to be around 115. We'll see!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
