I reached my target weight within in less than a year of the surgery. I was told in fact by the doctor and others to add a little more food portions to my diet. I did but may be to much. Now I can drink soda. It takes me all day to drink one can. I feel hungry all day now when before I never even felt hungry. I seem to like to eat carbohydrates a lot and not the healthy kind. I in fact have eaten everything bad for me so I could gain a few pounds back because at my goal weight I looked very unhealthy. Ive always been muscular. So when at a tiny size people thought I was sick. So I got tired of hearing it and worked hard to gain 8 pounds back but I feel terrible and notice my appetite has increased. Now I'm scared that I've ruined my sleeve. Im over 2 years post op so I guess I'm in for some changes
