What Did You Do To Celebrate Your Surgiversary?

Next month will be my one year surgiversary. So I'm wondering what you guys have done or plan to do for yours. My current plan is to go to the boardwalk, ride all the rides I couldn't fit on before all while wearing my new bikini. Unless it's too cold or I can't afford to.

Mine is next month too - I have no plan. I just don't know what to do.

I'm only 6 weeks post op, but a girl can plan ahead, right? I want a new tattoo with my surgery date and a mantra that got me through pre-op week, surgery day and recovery...and still now. I've been trying to think of an area that is a) not covered in stretch marks and B) won't morph as I continue to lose weight.

I am about 2 months away. Tho I am off on a 2.5 month vacation, roadtripping around the US. I am not sure exactly where I will be or who I will be with but I plan for the whole vacation to be a celebration of what I have achieved, now being a normal weight and not being too heavy to do things. I plan on horse riding, rafting, hiking, zip lining...lots fun stuff...a true celebration of life.

I am very lucky that a lot of things have aligned to allow this.

No fear...all faith.

JDH- what is your mantra?
