I was told 6 weeks. I'm a "bath" girl so its driving me crazy not to take my nice relaxing evening bath.

Definitely wait til your incisions are completely healed. I only take showers,so it hasn't bothered me at all.but I know there are those who love their baths!

Usually not until your incisions are healed. Call your Doctor and ask just to be sure.

I would just continue to shower until I go my follow-up. That is definently a question for your doctor. Be safe you don't want to infect any of your incisions.

I had to wait until all of my incisions healed for a bath, although showers were allowed as soon as I got home. No pool until the incisions were completely healed, either.

I was also told 6 weeks (or until my surgeon says so). I have a swimming pool and it's my favorite activity and I have a pool sitting outside. I also realize, getting into and out of a tub, even though I'm 3 weeks out, would not be very pleasant or comfortable to me right now. My incisions are starting to heal but I noticed my large one pulling a little bit. I can't believe I still have a few stitches, I thought they were dissolvable, but on Wed. he's going to have to take these suckers out, my clothes are irritating a few of them and one keeps poking through my clothes.

Definitely wait til your incisions are completely healed. I only take showers,so it hasn't bothered me at all.but I know there are those who love their baths!
