Sooo I was at the Vitamin shop earlier getting some essential oils and I happened upon the Biotin - I grabbed a bottle of the 1000mcg capsules. The bottle says 1 a day, so should I stick with that or should I do 2? Anybody have any insights/experience?

The ones I take are 5,000. They really haven't done anything, but I take them anyway. I guess I am afraid to find out what would happen with no Biotin.< /p>

I take 1000 Biotin every day, along with my super B. I "think" my hair has stopped falling out; it seems to be more closely tied to my thyroid medication and not the B Vitamins, but I'm with Oregon Daisy--don't want to see what happens if I stop it. :-)

I've been taking 5000 mcg 2 x per day. I think the hairloss would be worse if I didn't take all these Vitamins & supplements. I love how my eye lashes are longer. I'll try anything. I even got some doo gro but I dont think I can handle the smell.

I was just lookin at Doo Gro online and went to my local Sally's Beauty Supply. All they had was the Hair growth oil and the lady said it would be really oily in my hair. She said to try http://www.wildgrowth.com/ so i am trying it. She had lap band surgery a year ago and looks great. She also suggested sally's version of nioxin called nutri-ox. I am (hair) thin from a procedure I had done in january so i am trying anything i can. Even looking at that powder you pu on your white skull to make it look fuller. Hoping the other stuff works..

I read somewhere that overdosage of Biotin is not a problem, because it is Water soluable and can be easily removed by the kidneys. You may want to check with your doc to confirm.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
