I Am Terrified Of Losing My Hair!

I haven't had surgery yet, and my biggest fear is losing my hair. I have thick hair right now, and had a tiny bit of loss when I had my kids, but that is all. Does everyone lose hair, or just some people?

I lost a lot of my hair when I was 31 and going through Chemo. At that time I learned that I would never complain about a bad hair day and in the end, my hair came back better than every and it's bee

My hair is super super thick to begin with. So I don't worry so much about it thinning some. Might help me cool down in this summer heat!

I actually have some Biotin sublingual in liquid form. Do you think I can take??

I have a custom partial hairpiece I had made 2 years ago because my hair thinned alot from some medication I had to take. It was not cheap- but looks awesome- totally blends in. If the hairloss bothers anyone, this is an option. Just research for a good place. I go to a place in Fort Worth. 1 1/2 hours away but well worth it.

I went from thick to thin...and one year later no regrowth. I am hopeful, but if it doesn't come back oh well. Less $ on hair shampoo & conditioner and less time blow drying and flat ironing. I can do it now in 20 minutes. Before it was an hour.

I would take the hour for more hair, but there is always a good side.

I hear ya!

I'm 4 months post op and shedding like crazy! I have very thick hair and lose about two handfuls a day. I can definitely tell it's getting thinner, but it's not coming out in chunks and I have no bald spots. I talked to my NUT today, and I am upping my protein from 65g to 80g a day, and adding Zinc and Biotin supplements. She said the loss shouldnt last long.
