Southaven' date=' Horn Lake, Olive Branch ? Who was your surgeon? What was your experience? I hope I'm not prying or being pushy. All the best to you..[/quote']

Further south small town Marks Ms near Batesville Dr Wegner at St Francis was my surgeon excellent surgeon. The day if surgery I had to get out of bed and sit up in chair I stayed in the hospital 2 nights. The first week was kinda hard but I got through its still hard for me to get all my liquids in but its getting better. But I cant complain I was sleeved on the 12 I have lost a total of 30 from 2 wk preop until now. So whose your surgeon.

Dr. George Woodman @ Baptist East. I have no clue how Dr. Wegner's process goes. They don't allow you to consult with him until you've completed all the insurance requirements? What other pre-op things did u have to do? What was your stay @ St. Francis like?

Actually Dr. Wegner was the one that did the seminar and after it was over those that wanted to speak with him had the chance but you do get a chance to go in and speak with him or Dr. Weaver once they verify that your insurance covers bariatric surgery not after you done all your requirements. I had to do the liver shrink diet two weeks prior to surgery, but my insurance did require a six month weigh in with your PCP showing that u have tried on your own but just my luck I had been going to the dic anyway.

Eager12, it's great to see other North Mississippians on here. I see Dr Pinson @ NMMC Bariatric Center in Tupelo. I still have a few more months of pre-op insurance requirements to go. Plan to be sleeved Oct 23rd.

BTW, looking forward to seeing my Ms Kitty too!
