  1. as some of y'all know I live in New Orleans and right now it's Mardi Gras season for the first time in a long time I really had fun in my tube top with no bra and tight tummy even dancing to the different bands. I finally feel good about my body and even feel a bit sexy  . now I know the scar isn't perfect on the tummy and Im going to have a scar revision after im a year post-op if it doesn't improve.

  4. I'm getting the mommy makeover Sept 10th. I am self pay and will be going to Mexico. if I remember I will update on the actual surgery.
  5. I have no regrets, but I sometimes wish I had my full tummy for just 1 day when something taste so good and I want more. your so early out, ask yourself this same question at 9 months. i bet it will be the same as my answer.
  6. I ate watermelon 2 weeks out and had no problems, oh I remember thinking it was the best I ever had
  7. ok ya'll thanks for the laugh, I'm sure I burned a few calories laughing
  8. yeah same here I think all the nerves brought it down, good thing was I got to keep my underwear on, they were just pulled down past my tummy, bad thing is, just being on your period, it sucks the last thing you want to do is change a tampon or pad just after having surgery
  9. all I have is skin which fills a c cup(was a dd)
  10. I did chex rice cereal after 2 weeks they were really easy and broke down in my mouth to nothing. at that time I wasnt worried about carbs, calories, fat. I was weak and frankly needed it. I don't eat it anymore since it is a "slider" food and I can eat alot, I would NOT eat any nuts until 1 month post op.
  11. So here goes my rant! I've been wanting to post this for a while but thought I might be attacked by others, well screw it! I have noticed in quite a bit post here and on other forums, how some people eat and exercise and get to goal in 6 or so months and just seem so perfect. No sweet, no carbs, only salad, protein and water. Well my question to you is WHY did you have surgery????? you seem not to have any issues losing weight, seems to me you could have surely done this on your own. I'm starting to feel like weight lose surgery is becoming the next diet fad. I am not perfect, nowhere it. I could never follow a diet for more than a month. It may sound like I'm envious, well your right. I'm 9 months out and still have food and head issues.

  21. I went though Ready 4 a Change myself judy is great i had it done aug 2007 and we still talk like it was yesterday. i have the 4cc band and my aunt has the 10cc band and wishes she would have gotten the 4cc band like me, im not sure why i got the 4 and she got the 10 and went to the same dr. all i can say is to listen to dr zapata and what he recommends will be right for you, everyone is different and what good for somelse may not be for you. oh i went you go to mexico BRING SOMEONE WITH YOU i had to go alone because my family didnt support me going to mexico and my husband had to say with the kids and my aunt just had plastic surgery. i was really hard and painful without help. i hope everything goes well for you. good luck!!!
