Please excuse the bold language! I have a question for the woman...sorry fellas :) I have a love hate relationship with my breast. when I was a teen I went to sleep and woke up in a D cup, now 11 yrs later I am in a 38jj. Whenever I lost weight prior my boobs barely changed. I would LOVE for them to go down during this transition but I still want something (my trademark) what are some of the changes some of you noticed when the weight started to come off? My fears are I will be 160 lbs w/ JJs or 160 lbs w/ As...ideally I would like to be 160 lbs w/ Ds or DDs...but realistically I know time will only tell...thought it would be an,interesting topic!

LOL - great thread! Ya, I seem to lose from the top on down - my boobs are now skin that want to point at the ground. They do fill my DDD cups but even my husband told me yesterday my bra is too big.

Yep, you'll lose some, for sure, but I think if you always had big ones, you're still going to have some when you're done. It's not only the size; it's also the texture and directional change, if you get my drift--sagging is pretty common and there's not a lot that can be done about that nonsurgically. I'm a big believer in great, expensive, well-made bras; that's my new indulgence, since food isn't such an expense any more.

Ha! Yes! I've had five babies(nursed them all) and they're still in very nice shape BUT I wear a GOOD bra night and day. I'm hoping hoping this weightloss won't be any different. :)

I used to have glorious perky DDD's.

Now they are like a baseball in a tube sock.

Get used to buying new bras and shelling out a pretty penny.

If youre so inclined... start saving for plastics too!

I was a DD before and I'm still a D or DD (depends on the type of bra) but I went down from a 44 to a 36 around. Gravity is definitely NOT my friend, but I still have a lot up top. I think everyone is different so you will just figure out where you are when you get there!

Well, I'm sad to say that not only have I lost significant boobage, my butt decided to join the girls! There is not much left. :( its like my legs just keep going. I think I'm sadder about my booty than the boobies. At least I can put on a pretty bra and pretend. There's nothing that's going to camouflage the lack of buttness.

I'm worried about this too as I feel big tatas of some of my trademark as well. However, I think part of my pride in my chest is due to shame about the other parts of my body so that's what I've always marketed to men and, consequently, gotten the most attention for.

I've lost 80 (65 pre-op) and it was the first area I started losing. I've whined a lot about my shrinking boobies. Every time I've worn a bathing suit this summer someone has commented about it. Although, they actually FIT in my bathing suit tops now instead of fall out. lol I think everyone is different. My aunt, who was banded and lost 90, has maintained most of her chest so she tells me not to worry.

I went bra shopping at a week post-op and, much to my delight, I went down a band size but was still in a DDD right now. But I do feel like my bras just one size bigger are huge on me. I just wish I could lose something in my hips because I was always proportionate and now I'm becoming pear shaped (not in a good way).

My weight is coming off slow and steady, but I have definitely lost some of my boobs. That is totally fine with me as I stopped buying bras at a double D and started wearing sports bras.

At this point, things look pretty decent. I have noticed a few stretch marks showing as they are shrinking which I don't love, but overall I am pleased they are not hanging on the floor.

I keep reminding myself that just about anything can be corrected in the future once my weight loss is complete. :)

I am 48 DD right now, and they're already pretty saggy. I'm hopeful that they may perk up, LOL. I am thankful for this thread, though: this is something I've been wondering about myself!

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
