I'm in Cary. I'm getting sleeved 2/15 @ Rex, Dr Tyner is my surgeon. I'm excited this is my second surgery date, 1st one got torpedoed by the flu.

Congrats you guys!!! Keep us posted and let us know how it goes ;0)

I made an appt to see Dr Tyner next week. I missed my first post op visit ecause of a death in the family. I look and feel good but eager to check in.

Dr Tyner is doing my sx 2/28 how was he! How was ur sx! ????

I will be having my sleeve at Rex with Dr Tyner. Do any of you guys get together and hang out? Just to talk or to enjoy each others company?

Dr. Tyner did my surgery on 2/15. He fixed a hernia I didn't know I had. I like his vibe and it went smooth. The nursing staff at Rex is top notch, if you're on the 7th floor one of the nurses has had the surgery and was great resource. Just walk as much as you can.

If any one needs a unopened bag of Bariatric Advantage (vanilla). Let me know. I found a premade shake that works better for me.

I am in Raleigh. I am waiting on insurance approval and then my work schedule to lighten. I am hoping by May. I am planning on vsg by Dr. Yoo at Duke. I have not been real good about pre op diet because it seems so unreal not knowing when it will be. Also, i never was real good at dieting, hence the need for the vsg. Would love to have a mentor, hope in a year i can be one.

Congrats on finding Dr Yoo. I would have used him but I was self-pay & could not afford his cost. I wish you the best!

Hi everyone! I'm getting sleeved April 1st (no foolin!) at Duke by Dr. Omotosho. Excited/nervous/resolved. Need to start my pre-op diet soon; I've been experimenting with lots of different shakes.

I'm 29, engaged, no kids, work in government. Would love to make some sleeve friends! Send me a message or post here if you'd be interested in meeitng up!

Hey Raleigh-Durham sleevers - I just found some free fitness classes on Meetup.com & thought I'd share:

2. Triangle Health REVOLUTION with Lifestyle Body Solutions - Bootcamp with Holly. Same location as #1. FREE!

3. Get Lean for Spring in Raleigh @ Capital Strength & Conditioning, 2422 Atlantic Ave, Raleigh. Sunday afternoons 3:30-5:30? FREE!

Hi. I am in Raleigh too and am also planning on having VSG (revision from lapband) by Dr. Yoo. I will probably have it at the main Duke hospital because he is there on Fridays and I don't like Duke Raleigh. I wish he worked at Rex. I switched to Dr. Yoo for lapband care because I wasn't happy with the postop care of my lapband surgeon. So far, I love Dr. Yoo. He spent a lot of time working with me to try to get the lapband to work for me. Unfortunately, due to reflux, he can't tighten it to the point where I feel satiety and can lose weight so, when I see him next week, I am going to tell him that it is time to ask for insurance approval for the sleeve.

I am sold on Dr. Yoo's knowledge and bedside manner. Could anyone who used Dr. Yoo, please let me know how you felt about his surgical skills and postop support.

Thanks!
