Just Sleeved 11 days ago and on the road to recovery. I didn't get a sleeve so I can't eat good food, I got it so I don't eat too much food. I enjoy cooking quite a bit and plan to continue that, just not as much eating in my future. I do plan to exercise more as the weight comes off and the stress on my knee and ankle declines.

Now 7.5 weeks post op and 46 lbs lost. I about 1/2 way to my goal. I am eating some fruits and veggies but am sure to get my required protein (my doc wants 70 gm protein per day). I have had the esophageal spasms only 2x and thank god they told me about that so i didn't panic. If I get them its because i didn't chew things up enough. My strength is slowly returning. All the stuff about the surgery improving your love life is completely true.

Now about 6 months out and about 70 lbs down. I can eat about anything but try to stay away from sweets as they don't agree with me and I crave chicken, fish and steak. Drinking is no longer a problem . Got a kidney stone that hurt like a mother but finally passed it. Key, don't get dehydrated.
