Starting Fertility Treatments

Hey everybody! It's been a long, long time since I have posted anything, but I wanted to just put an update out there. I was sleeved Dec. 20, 2011, and have lost 54 pounds so far. The doc gave me the green light for getting pregnant a couple weeks ago, and I am doing my first cycle of Clomid. I am so excited! We go to count eggs in 2 days! I have been wanting this for so long now, and I can't believe it's finally happening. DH and I have been wanting a child for over 4 years now. We didn't find out that I had an issue until 2 years ago, and I was diagnosed with PCOS. I am so thrilled to finally be at this point, and hope so much that we can get pregnant right away!

I've been taking gas-ex, but it hasn't helped much. I just went over to my nearby health food store and got a digestive enzyme cocktail in pill form. I took a dose about 15 minutes ago, and I already feel a little better. I will ask my doctor about it this afternoon just to be on the safe side. The relief is blessed...

Yea ask your doctor. You want to be careful with what you take because even herbs can have a profound, negative effect on pregnancy. My doctor, with my 4th child told me to start taking evening primrose oil when I was 36weeks pregnant and I ended up hemmoraging as a result. Just be very careful.

Went to the doctor this afternoon for the sonogram, and they couldn't see anything. So, going back in a week to look again... I hate waiting!!! Patience is not an easy virtue for me.

I had some spotting today. It was bright red. I'm kind of freaked out by it, and hubs is almost to emotional breaking point over it- he so, so wants this baby. We asked the doc about the gas supplement, and he didn't think I should take it. We looked it up when we got home, and it has fennel seed in it, which isn't good for pregnancy. So, another thing to freak out about, since I already took four today. Ugh.

Girl I wouldn't freak out too badly. I have a friend who bled bright red the first 3 months of her pregnancy and has a beautiful baby boy who is healthy and active. She bled like a period too. Hang in there and keep the faith. Praying for you all.

Thanks rodswife!! I rested the rest of the afternoon and took a nice, long nap. I am feeling a little better now, and there wasn't anymore blood when I woke up. Still bloated, though...

I'm glad there wasn't anymore blood. How many weeks are you and how many weeks did they say you should be to see the baby,

Lost the baby. We went to the doc this morning because the numbers were not good on the blood test yesterday. They did an ultrasound just to make sure it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy, and it wasn't. But they couldn't really distinguish the baby either, and there wasn't a heartbeat or any movement.

Crying. I'm so sorry Cristy. My heart is breaking for you. Just please do not give up. We don't know what gods plan is for us but I definitely think his plan involves you being a mom at some point. I'll continue to pray for healing, understanding, acceptance and another chance. I'm here if you need anything.

I am so sorry for your loss. You and your husband will be in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry! I have been through this several times and I understand how painful it is to loose a baby! You are in my prayers!

So. Sorry, ur in my prayers!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I'll be thinking of you guys.

Today has been a very hard, hard day. I have been having alonst constant cramping. The bleeding is picking up a little this evening. I went to the store with hubs earlier, and the walking around was torture. The last couple days haven't been that productive- just a few drops of brownish discharge. This morning it was light pink, and within the last hour I have started bleeding a little. The cramps are killer. I feel like I have to go to the bathroom constantly. I'm not enjoying this... It feels like my lower abdomen is trying to turn itself inside out. The Tylenol is not helping at all.

I will be so glad when all of this is over and we can think about trying again.

I'm sorry girl. I'm not sure what you were told you can and can't do but do you think a heating pad would help? You have been on my mind a lot. Praying for you.
