Sleeved here in Dallas Texas on 4/10 weighed in at 261 and now I am 220. Without my sleeve I would not have lost anything and prob gained more. Took a couple weeks to realize this is just a tool and not a miracle. Pisses me off when people say things like "just fourth one pounds" or "that's it".......trying to stay away from the haters.....

You definitely need to only surround yourself with those that have your best interest at heart. Honestly if you lost just one pound that's a celebration. As long as its going down!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

Sleeved 4/16/12. My ticker tells the story....I'm feeling great. Went from XXL shirts to XL, 48 waist down to 40. I did 5 miles on the treadmill at 3.5 mph for the first time today. Getting all my calories and Proteins in every day. Still have trouble eating some things so I eat what I can with the limits. Congrats to all for your success.

Hi! I haven't been on here for awhile, but i was sleeved on April 10th. I'm doing great. Lost 36 lbs so far and have a lot of energy. We just got back from a 3 week vacation and even though i didn't exercise much, but grandkiddies kept me pretty busy. I also ate a lot of foods that I shouldn't but I still lost 3 lbs. Couldn't believe it when I got home. I am now back on the bandwagon and hopefully I will continue to lose the weight I need to lose. I am no longer diabetic or hypertensive and I'm so happy that I decided to get healthy so that I can enjoy all my little munchkins, who range in age from 6 1/2 to 1 1/2. (there are 7 of them). How is everyone else doing?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
