Next Week Sleevers ? Or Anyone Whom Are Upcoming April Sleevers?

Recommended Posts

Way to go Stacie! I am also sleeving Monday' date=' 4/23 at 11am in Charlotte, NC. Here is a tip: Isopure drinks from GNC work well in Jello, just use it in lieu of the cup of cold water.....mix and match the flavors to add Protein to jello for that first week, could also use Gatorade 3 which has protein ;)[/quote']

KayBaby.....I live in Monroe and I'm getting sleeved Tuesday 4/24 at Presby Matthews. You're the 1st person I've found on here that lives close to my area. Who is your doctor?

Stirling - we are here for you. the last thing you need before surgery is negativity and pressure. They should respect what you have decided to do. You have made the right decision for yourself, and you can get the support you deserve and need right here. Good luck kiddo! Be strong.

We"re here. Check in as soon as you can.

I leave for the hospital at 9. I'm east coast. Will check later.

They gave me a patch to put behind my ear. It is supposed to keep me from throwing up. It is making me nauseous.

I am 5 days post op and had some sugar free hot chocolate in the hosptial that was very good. Some warm Water with a spoon of sugar free Jello powder is also a good warm drink for the tummy. Of course Decaf tea and coffee is allowed. While in the hospital I had optisource carmel ready mixed Protein and it was good. Now that I'm home I do the nectar chocolate truffle with cold water and drink my ounce the first part of the hour and it goes down well. For lunch I'm going to have some unijury chicken Protein Drink. Hope all is gong well for you.

Yeah I have been trying a ton of Soups, and liquids. I think that its not the cold so much as its the dairy in the soups, grits and etc. So, I think i'm gonna steer clear of dairy for a while.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
