What's one thing you wish someone had told you before your surgery about life after surgery?

Me? I wish someone had told me just how different it would be! All the naturally skinny (read healthy) people at the Dr's office explaining it to us definitely were not as effective as a recently sleeved patient explaining it. I feel like the people working at my surgeons office generally aren't as knowledgeable as they think they are given that they've never actually been there before.

I wish I would have known about the fatigue and nausea post op. I expected it the first week but I'm in my 4th week and still experiencing these horrible symptoms! So ready to get over this.

I wish I was told how mentally and emotionally taxing, trying and engaging this whole process is!!!

I was VERY well informed. I was expecting a rough time, but this is EASY! Making my food for the day is fun and I can really get creative with it.
