  1. I'm starting my 5th week post op. Yes, I could spit every 10 seconds. Still nauseated too. Hope it goes away soon.
  2. My mouth continuously waters...this is so annoying. Anybody else experienced or experiencing this? Any tips on making it stop?
  3. Glad to know that Root! I'm 4 weeks post and still nauseated and crappy feeling! I pray it goes away soon. This is nooo fun!
  4. I wish I would have known about the fatigue and nausea post op. I expected it the first week but I'm in my 4th week and still experiencing these horrible symptoms! So ready to get over this.
  5. So I'm 3.5 weeks out and I'm still having weird feelings when I eat a bite of food. So how much time do you allow to pass between bites of food? Sips of liquid?
  6. Sounds like blood pressure issues. Are you on bp mess? If so, might be time to get off. Definitely time to go see your doc. In the mean time try getting up more slowly.

  8. So glad you posted this! I'm almost 3.5 weeks post and i tire so easily...even in the shower. I started mushies at 3 weeks but having trouble keeping this down. I did start taking 2 children's vitamins yesterday. Hopefully that will help with this fatigue.
  9. I had a craving for McDonald's chicken nuggets. So i ordered a 4 piece no sauce, chewed it and spit it out. It didn't taste as great as I remembered so I ended up giving the rest to my dogs. My recommendation...Chew & Spit!
  10. Thanks Dooter! I'll try that. I get do jealous to hear others say they are eating fish and tuna salad and etc. I'm like, what's wrong with me.
  11. I've been looking forward to this day. I was so glad to get off liquids. However, today was horrible. I started drinking water and vomited (1st time that happened). Tried some canned pears in light syrup....felt like all 3 bites just collected in the back of my throat. I fought hard not to vomit it up. I tried eggs and beans and they too collected in my throat...it's like that just get stuck. Any suggestions or ideas. Oh yeah and my mouth keeps watering. Please tell me how to correct this. I'm 3 weeks post.
  12. My doctor is totally against soda's due to the carbonation. He says it can cause ulcers. Anyone else had to put down their sodas?
  13. Well, if you can't handle it, your body won't hesitate in letting you know. I tried to cheat twice and threw up both times. Wasn't a fun experience at all. Now I'm patiently waiting for my mushy days to come.
  14. I had my surgery March 16th. I'm sooo tired of this liquid diet. My protein shake that used to be pretty good pre surgery, is now horrible. I'm going to try some other flavors. You can have egg salad and tuna salad on your liquid diet or is this the start of your soft foods?
  15. I had to do 1 week of full liquids and 24 hours of clears pre-op. It went well for me. Didn't cheat not one time. Post op, I have to do 2 weeks of liquids and I'm struggling. I'm so ready to start my soft foods.
