Mouth Keeps Watering

My mouth continuously waters...this is so annoying. Anybody else experienced or experiencing this? Any tips on making it stop?

No idea...curious now...gonna check back in when some others have posted.

How far out are you? Do you feel like you need to spit a lot? If yes and you're not that far out, this happens to some people post-op. For the first three weeks after surgery, I had excessive saliva that I had to constantly spit out. Does this sound like what's occurring?

I had this too, especially the first few days and nights after surgery. It seems to get better as time goes on. I think it is reflux sometimes and other times, I think it is nausea.

I'm starting my 5th week post op. Yes, I could spit every 10 seconds. Still nauseated too. Hope it goes away soon.

Yep, I had it too, had to spit a lot and kept getting a frothy spittle in my mouth. My guess is that it's a side result of ketosis, when the body is actively burning it's fat stores.

I also get it now - though not as bad - the few times I've eaten too much, I get the overly stuffed feeling, the frothy rolling spit and if it's too much for me I vomit. Once I do it's over and the spit stops too. In this case I wonder if it's not the body interpreting the too full stomach as something being caught in the digestive tract and it produces so much spit to try and wash it though. ust my guess.

I had (and sometimes still have) if I eat too much or two quickly.

I have this too when I eat a bit too much but I also got this way from time to time before surg and it was an almost continuous thing that sometimes would last a day or two. It was weird.

Ack - I'm getting this right now (3.5 days post op). It's driving me crazy!
