Hi Jocy! I've been checking this post everyday because we're pretty much in the same boat so to speak. My information was also submitted to my insurance, (Anthem), last Monday and I've yet to hear

Stay on them!!! Call every day... Twice a day if u want. Mine was the same way!! It took a week before my case was opened and that following Monday I got an approval (after I had called them that morning and afternoon)

I called the surgeon's office to ask them about it and she said ( not yet). I asked her if I should call and she said no , to leave them alone. I don't know what to do. My pre testing is tomorrow and I'm just getting discourage ..

I know. I'm Nervous for that too. But everything should be ok.. Do you think it's a good idea to call the insurance ! Im so curious.. And worried.. .. I cant stop going to YouTube and checking updates on people that had it done already.. And I guess preparing my mind to what is coming ..

I'm counting the days. 15 more days to go. And very nervous

@Jocy...call the insurance comp. Just politely ask if they got your paperwork and everything they need and if there is a status update....I did...I don't have Aetna. But I called BCBS every single day sometimes two or three times a day...the squeeky wheel gets the grease!!!

You pay them, not your surgeon. They are your customer service. Call them if you want to. You will always be a better advocate that paid help.
