I've seen smoothie king but they closed it down. I will love to try one. Now it's 45 grams of protein per serving . If its a whole glass. How many servings are those?? Just thinking. I ordered the liquid protein from vita4life and it's nasty!! I might check their return policy. I'm so worry about how am I gonna get my proteins ...

U guys can try Vita4life liquid protein. They are 2 oz tiny packets and each one has 30grams of protein. Check the website .. Pretty good. I have the same problem and I just bought them .. Strawberry flavor

I ordered 144 packets. Well see how it goes .. Im gonna try the ones from Costco too but as time goes by because I'm 2 going to 3 weeks post op and I'm still not able to eat anything. So I'm only having soups with nothing on it

Anybody knows what I can eat that's a good source of proteins?? I'm so tired of the protein shakes but if there no other thing. I guess I have to just keep on drinking them

Omg that's awful .. I've been reading your post and I can't believe they're so unprofessional there. I was sleeved 9 days ago and I feel better. The first 4 days were bad but not to tht extend. Hope you feel better as time goes by. I have lost 25 pounds so far and the drainage was removed yesterday and I felt it. Lol

Today it's 4 days post op for me. I have problems with cold drinks or pop sickles. I crave them but I noticed it kinda gives me acid reflux afterwards. With hot liquids. I have only tried chicken stock and room temp water. I was craving yesterday to have a little but of orange juice or some hot chocolate but I don't know how I will feel after if I tried milk , I'm very scared. I have been peeing a lot but I'm constipated since 2 days before surgery.. My follow up visit is the 25th and I'm scared just thinking how is the dr gonna pull out the drainage. I can't barely sleep. I wake up almost 4 times every time and drinking. I cannot drink fast. I'm taking Prilosec , some pills to prevent nausea and Percocet for the pain. So far good. Any recommendations. I completely shut down my self from everybody. I feel that when I talk I get tired faster

All right people. Today is my turn. My surgery is today. Getting ready to head to the hospital. Super nervous

They just called me from the hospital for my surgery tomorrow. I have to be there at 730am. Oh god. Pray for me people. I'm super scared !

My surgery is tomorrow the 17th. Today is my last day of work and it feels is the longest. Super nervous. I can't stop thinking about it. The hospital hasnt called yet to give me the time I have to be there. Not prepared yet. Today I did all my laundry so I won't have nothing dirty , I'm super super nervous.

Hello all my surgery is April 17th and I have mixed feelings, I can't stop talking about it. I look myself in the mirror everyday and I'm just terrified. The hospital said they will call me on Monday to give me the exact time to go to the hospital on Tuesday and I just can't stop thinking about it. It's a traumatizing feeling let me tell you. I'm counting the days. I wonder how bad its gonna hurt and all the complications I may have such as clots and leakings. I'm 33 yrs old and I'm 228 pounds. I was 240 when I started. I'm drinking lots of liquids and not eating at all. Only tangerines which I crave. I havent prepared myself yet. I havent pack anything yet. And all i keep looking at is YouTube and all the videos they have.

@delta35. Just do what you feel is right. Everybody has their own opinion. I'm happy I got approved and just wish everybody's luck on their own decisions.. 7 more days to go !! Super nervous =)

Congrats. Mine got approved too. Now I'm just getting nervous as I count on the days. So far 9 days left ..

My advise to you is to do everything they ask you to do cuz it's a long process after that. You still have to meet with your surgeon to sign off consent forms and then go to a seminar and then meet with the anesthesiologist and from there go to have your PST's. I have Aetna too and since this surgery is for you and you are the one interested. You should do everything they ask you to since they deal with lots of cases daily and besides remember they are the ones who say when to send it or not , not you. If they feel they're missing information from you, it will jut be delayed or put as last. I live in new York and the psychologist visit was nothing more than 2 hrs and then she faxed her report to the surgeon maybe within the week. Good luck

Thank you. Wowww congrats. I'm so nervous. My surgery is the 17th and even though I'm very excited , I'm really nervous too to the point that I'm having nightmares feeling everything to waking up in tremendous pain. I guess the anxiety Is kicking in.

approved!! I'm overjoyed. Cannot believe it . .. Super super excited but very scared too about going to surgery.. But other than that. I'm just preparing myself mentally and physically.

I want to let everyone know I'm jumping up and down of joy!!! I received the call this morning. I GOT APPROVED!! I can't believe it.. She made my day!! AeTnA approved it! I can't believe it.. This is gonna change my life completely. I'm gonna be able to be a healthy person from now on. I have lost 8 pounds from the day I started my liquid diet and I just want to thank everyone that has been checking up on me to see if it was approved.

The lady at Aetna just said she's gonna call them to see if they need any additional papers on that department to approve it or not. I'm so nervous. She put me on hold
