Can I Have Corn? What About Coconut? Why Or Why Not?

I remember the list of foods, that I could never have again, one was corn. I have talked to others that say, they corn all the time. How about anyone else. The other was no coconut. Now I can see, that is a tuff to digest food. Has anyone eaten coconut? I just started eating my first salads, I'm 3 month 2 weeks out.

I eat a lot of fibrous foods too, but I didn't till I was more than 6 months out. Just had an artichoke yesterday - talk about fiber, but so good!

I gotta know! What did you dip the artichoke in? I used to dip mine in mayonnaise or butter. I've been dying for an artichoke!

A little light mayo. I saw a recipoe that blended Greek yogurt, light mayo and lemon juice and garlic. I'm gonna try that next time.

Thanks, that sounds like it will work.

I asked my doc about this when the subject of a bezoar came up last time. He said I could have corn, celery, coconut, or anything else without worry. Since I love celery, that was a huge relief for me! :) Ask your doctor what s/he says about those items, though. Of course, if they say no to something, it is a good idea to listen to them. I'm not 100% compliant with my doc's NO list, but I try to stick pretty close to it. :)
