Wishing you the very best today, and I pray the LORD watches over you and guides your Surgeons hands. Xox See you on the losers bench! Don't forget to check in and let us know how you're doing. :)

I pray you have a speedy recovery and I agree...let's get this thing done! I asked them if they would please just take me in this morning when I was having my preop bloodwork done! See you on the sleeved side! I'm a day behind you;-)

Hi everyone! I'm doing really good :) in my hospital room on the 5th floor with a view of trees on the back side instead of the parking lot! I was stoked to see I have a single room with a couch, recliner and at least a 32" in size flat screen. Think they make these rooms nicer because I'm at a military hospital and our soldiers deserve the best, because down in labor and delivery the TVs suck lol! Then the AYMCA volunteers came by and brought me magazines and another tv with a blu ray player with a choice of tons of movies.

Enough abouth the room lol! I'm feeling really good, so far no complications other then I didn't get the robotic surgery because there wasn't enough staff. My surgery team and hospital staff are just the nicest! I already did 2 laps around the floor. I also have a IV with Tylenol and morphine so pain is minimal. Nothing to drink/eat yet, until I pass gas, so I'm enjoying my sponge pop. Also my pre surgery weight was 221 not the 225 I weighed at my moms house...so yay! I'm just so proud of myself for taking charge of my life and becoming the person I know I can be. Thanks for all the prayers and support!

Your gonna do great! Think it's easier on this side now that I'm here. Not hungry at all, it's so amazing. I will be praying for you as well *hugs*

I just found out today that my surgery is scheduled for 4/4. My insurance approved it faster then I thought. Any tips. I am new to this site. I am excited about the surgery but have no idea what to expect, Thanks for any tips

DO NOT....I repeat....DO NOT BE ALARMED OF WEIGHT GAIN WHEN YOU GET HOME!!! I gained 10lbs during my hospital stay but they fell right off when I got home - that number on the scale terrified me!! Lol. So glad to know you are comfortable and feeling well! Keep walking and moving that gas! My second day was rough because it all went into both of my shoulders! Stay positive and focused....you can do this!! Welcome to the losers bench!:)
