  1. Don't know if you went out to SD yet, but that's where I live There are lots of choices for food out here. Taco shops and Mexican restraunts always have beans with cheese, lots of seafood places out here too! Let me know if you need any recommendations!
  2. You look amazing! I'm 2 months out and your an inspiration <3

  4. I just hit a great clearance at sears! They had tons of $3.99 racks and I spent $100 on all sizes of stuff including Levi's!
  5. I was the same way its so exciting and nerve wracking at the same time isn't it?! I will keep you in my prayers for surgery and recovery <3
  6. Sounds good...been on my 3 week stall for a week now. Anyways today is my bday and I'm having me some cheesecake lol!
  7. I agree...they make the best juice! It's the only juice my 14 month old will drink too lol. Other than that I get the ocean spray drink packets to mix with water since I'm water sensitive. I really enjoy the blueberry lemonade one.
  8. Sounds sooo good! Can't wait until I can chew something lol! 10 days post op and it all sounds good
  9. I would of thought I wrote this lol! I felt the same way at day 3. Luckily I'm able to drink protein shakes and think it really helps. If you have to be on clears maybe you can try the isopure protein drinks...they taste horrible IMO but it might help your energy. Just keep telling yourself it gets easier
  10. It gets easier! Don't forget you can mix Protein powder into pudding. I'm drinking Premier Protein rtd cans that have 35g of protein a can...they are great by the way! And don't forget Greek yogurt is full of protein. I don't know how you manage water, I can't tolerate it at all.
  11. It will get a little better every day. Just keep taking the lortab, it's a lifesaver. I mix mine with a little margarita flavor crystal light I'm 5 days post op and feeling more and more like myself everyday.
  12. I also gained water weight in the hospital...7 lbs. Yesterday I finally weighed in at my pre surgery weight and today I was down 3 lbs! I'm still on a clear diet with protein shakes. Felt so much better today too, everyday gets a bit easier
  13. I relate! I was sleeved on Monday at NMCSD San Diego Ca. I feel the same way but can't handle water. I've been using sugar free ocean spray packets and sf juice to sip. I'm also on protein drinks already but no yogurt or anything. Today was my first full day home and I'm very tired. It does seem to get easier to sip everyday and I do see the increase in fluids. I do still have gas and abdominal pain . The drugs in the hospital were so much better than what they sent home. Just ready to be able to play with my one year old a little more.
  14. I had to drink one bottle the day before. LaceyD is right about it working quickly! I was running to the restroom all day. In the end it was like I was peeing out my butt...sorry if tmi :/ in the end it's all worth it!
  15. My thought is the fage is a plain yogurt with the more calories and fat does have less sugar until you add in fruit....then your talking about an extra 2-5grams depending on your fruit choice. IMO I think I would stick with the dannon I already love plus it's only $1 at Walmart
  16. Your gonna do great! Think it's easier on this side now that I'm here. Not hungry at all, it's so amazing. I will be praying for you as well *hugs*
  17. Hi everyone! I'm doing really good in my hospital room on the 5th floor with a view of trees on the back side instead of the parking lot! I was stoked to see I have a single room with a couch, recliner and at least a 32" in size flat screen. Think they make these rooms nicer because I'm at a military hospital and our soldiers deserve the best, because down in labor and delivery the TVs suck lol! Then the AYMCA volunteers came by and brought me magazines and another tv with a blu ray player with a choice of tons of movies. Enough abouth the room lol! I'm feeling really good, so far no complications other then I didn't get the robotic surgery because there wasn't enough staff. My surgery team and hospital staff are just the nicest! I already did 2 laps around the floor. I also have a IV with Tylenol and morphine so pain is minimal. Nothing to drink/eat yet, until I pass gas, so I'm enjoying my sponge pop. Also my pre surgery weight was 221 not the 225 I weighed at my moms house...so yay! I'm just so proud of myself for taking charge of my life and becoming the person I know I can be. Thanks for all the prayers and support!
  18. I'm at the hospital checking in for my surgery! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I want to thank all the previous sleevers for there knowledge and everyone pending surgery for all the motivation. Let's get this thing done!!!
  19. No enema, but after 2 week pre op diet I had 2 days clear liquid and then today is my surgery eve and I had to drink a bottle of laxative this morning...yuck! I feel a little weak but super excited! Hang in there! It does get easier and days will go by faster. I did cheat one day of my pre op and felt so sick. Now I've been on Clear Liquids 2 days and am having no problem feeding my son Cookies. I just try to keep in my mind how I feel being the size I am and how much better I will feel after my surgery...and thank god it's at 5:30am in the morning tomorrow lol! Keeping you in my prayers, stay strong you made it this far and yo are so close *hugs*
  20. I'm also on pre op diet...I get a lean cuisine and a salad with fat free dressing.
  21. Thanks for asking this question! The vitamin thing has been kinda confusing to me I'm about to get sleeved on the 26th and just want to thank anyone who helps us out
