Typical Loss In 1St Week Or Two, When Does It Start To Slow Down

Is there a typical amount of weight people lose in the first week or two after surgery? If so, how much? I know that figure may vary a lot depending on how much a particular person needs to lose so I'm just curious about a ballpark number.

Then, when does the weight loss slow down to 2/3lb per week? I had surgery a week ago and just want to be prepared for when the inevitable slow-down starts.

I lost about 20 lbs. in the first week, and 5.5 the second. (Ideally, I'd like to lose around 115 lbs., although I have no idea if I'll make it that far.) Now in my third week post-op, so no idea what will happen next...

I am one week out, post op and have lost 13.5 this week... My total for pre-op and now is 28#. It totally depends is what I am finding :)

I lost 8 in my 2 week pre op liquid diet, and 8 more in the 10 days after surgery so far . I am still on liquids for 2 weeks
