Hi everyone, my name is Kimberly. Today I attended the orientation for bariatric surgery, and filled out all of my paperwork. They tell me I should hear back from them at the beginning of the week to schedule my first appointment with my surgeon. I have decided to have the verticle sleeve gastrectomy. The lapband didn't seem like it had a high enough success rate, and the Roux-En-Y looked too risky. So, I settled for the middle! Hahaha! I've very excited, and nervous. So, we'll see how this journey goes. Good luck to everyone on their journeys!

Thanks guys! I am near Asheville, and I'm hoping to have Dr. Alan Bradshaw do mine. He started the bariatric program in town. I'm hoping by September I'll be "sleeved"! We shall see!
